§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the 10 housing authorities in England and Wales with the highest rent arrears outstanding, expressed as a percentage of the annual rebated rent revenue; and if he will list the 10 housing authorities with the lowest arrears outstanding on the same basis.
§ Mr. ArmstrongOn the latest information available, the percentages range 469W from 23 to seven, and from nil to 0.3 respectively. In the vast majority of cases the arrears are less than 5 per cent. I do not think any useful purpose would be served by naming the authorities concerned.
