§ Mr. William RodgersAs shown in the Statement on Defence Estimates 1975, purchases of defence equipment from overseas in the financial year 1974–75 amounted to £120 million and the forecast for 1975–76 is £130 million. These figures exclude transactions in respect of collaborative projects which are generally self-balancing.
