This includes the cost of related professional fees but excludes any improvements which are not grant-aided.
All figures are approximate and based on very limited data. Estimates for the constituent countries are subject to wider margins of error than for the United Kingdom as a whole.
A slightly different definition of GDP is used for OECD purposes and the comparable figure for the United Kingdom on this basis for 1974 was 3.9 per cent. as given in my reply to the hon. Member on 9th December.—[Vol. 902, c. 132–3.]
