asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what the number of available staffed beds was in the east district of the Birmingham Area Health Authority in 1974–75; and how this compares with previous years for which records are available;

(2) what was the number of bed occupancies in the Birmingham Area Health Authority in 1974–75 and in the previous years for which figures are available;

(3) what was the number of bed occupancies in the east district of the Birmingham Area Health Authority in 1974–75; and how this compares with previous years for which figures are available;

(4)what the number of available staffed beds was in the Birmingham Area Health Authority in 1974–75; and how this compares with the previous years for which figures are available.

The AHA(T) and its districts did not come into existence until 1st April 1974.
