§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) if he will give details of exemptions granted by the Civil Aviation Authority to free-fall parachute clubs in the United Kingdom for dropping zones within a radius of the perimeter of a civil airport of: (a) 440 yards, (b) 880 yards, (c) 1,320 yards, (d) one mile, (e) one and a half miles, and (f) two miles;
(2) if he will give details of exemptions granted by the Civil Aviation Authority for dropping zones in proximity to class A roads, and within a distance of: (a) 100 yards, (b) 220 yards, (c) 440 yards, and (d) 880 yards of these class A roads;
(3) if he will give details of exemptions granted by the Civil Aviation Authority which have been rescinded following public inquiries against enforcement notices issued by county metropolitan county or district councils or their predecessors during each of the past five years.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisThese are all matters which fall within the responsibility of the Civil Aviation Authority and I have drawn the attention of the Chairman of the Authority to the hon. Member's inquiries.
