Friend the Member for Coventry, North East (Mr. Edelman) on 5th August 1975, I intend to publish an up-to-date version of Cmnd 5609 as soon as practicable after the Government have taken a decision about the salaries of nationalised industry chairmen and members in the light of the report on higher incomes by the Royal Commission on the Distribution of Income and Wealth.
