Compensation was awarded as follows: under £500 in 687 cases, between £500 and £1,000 in 114 cases, between £1,000 and £2,000 in 62 cases, between £2,000 and £3,000 in 29 cases, between £3,000 and £4,000 in 7 cases and over £4,000 in 9 cases.
