§ Mr. Jim Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Trade how many representations he has received from trade union and employer representatives in the East Midlands over the past three years urging the implementation of import quotas on low-cost hosiery and knitted goods from Portugal, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
§ Mr. DeakinsSince April 1972 my Department, and its predecessor Department, the Department of Trade and Industry, have received 32 representations from East Midlands employer and trade430W union representatives about low-price imports of the goods in question, but I have received no formal requests for antidumping measures.
