§ Mrs. Winifred Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Employment which types of jobs he considers would be adversely affected in the event of Great Britain's withdrawal from the Community.
§ Mr. John Fraserin the White Paper on "Membership of the European Community" (Cmnd 6003) the Government expressed the view that there would be a risk of deterioration in the level of employment for a time at least in the event of Britain's withdrawal from the Community. Particular considerations indicated in the White Paper were the 379W consequences for confidence and investment at home, and whether we were able to obtain trading arrangements with the Community which would be favourable for our exporting industries. It is not possible to list the types of jobs which would be affected or mainly affected.
