§ Mr. Parkasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she can now state how many patients discharged from psychiatric hospitals in the city of Coventry in 1974 were discharged to no fixed abode.
§ Dr. OwenPatients should not knowingly be discharged to no fixed abode. Necessary arrangements for suitable accommodation are normally made through the local social services department. If my hon. Friend has a particular case in mind I suggest that he should take the matter up with the area health authority in the first instance.
