§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the allowances paid to young people on short industrial courses were increased on 10th April 1975, as were the allowances paid to all trainees. A comparison of the old and new rates for trainees aged 16, 17 and 18 without dependants is given below:
