§ Mr. FreesonThe low figure in January following the high one in December is an example of the chance variations in order statistics, referred to in answering the hon. Member's earlier Question. New orders, at constant prices, for public sector housing were 2 per cent. higher in November to January than in the previous three months and 22 per cent. higher than a year earlier.
