§ Mr. EnnalsHong Kong has in fact been included in the list of countries and territories drawn up by the United States Administration for consideration as potential beneficiaries under the scheme, subject to the United States Government being satisfied on certain points. I am hopeful that the consultations which are currently taking place with the United States Administration will result in Hong Kong being admitted to the benefits of222W the United States generalised preference scheme.
