HC Deb 18 April 1975 vol 890 c173W
Mr. Luard

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will publish in the Official Report details of Her Majesty's ships to be paid off following the defence review.

Mr. Judd

Detailed plans for paying off Her Majesty's Ships will depend on a number of factors, including progress with our new construction programme, the material condition of the ships themselves and manpower considerations. At this stage, however, I can say that the following ships are expected to be paid off in the year 1975–76: HMS "Bulwark", HMS "Hampshire", HMS "Rorqual", HMS "Berry Head", HMS "Keppel".

Ships already approved for disposal during 1974–75 were included in Annex D to the Statement on the Defence Estimates 1975.
