In particular, the figures for South Glamorgan include £30.2 million tax collected by Cardiff (Marine) office in respect of seafarers and also a relatively small amount of tax collected by the Public Department offices at Cardiff. PAYE tax for public servants dealt with by these offices it not collected in Wales.
