§ Mr. Cordleasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she is aware that certain National Health dental patients have to wait some six to eight months for caps which their dentists have prescribed for them; and what steps is she taking to reduce the period of delay.
§ Dr. OwenDentists are required by their terms of service to complete a course of general dental service treatment within six months of the date of acceptance of the patient or, where the Dental Estimates Board's prior approval is required, within six months of the date on which approval is received. The time limit does not apply where delay is due to failure by the patient to attend for treatment.
