§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the amount paid in estate duties in each county of Wales and in Wales as a whole for the last available year.
§ Dr. Gilbert:Estate duty paid by residents of Wales in 1973–74 is estimated to have been of the order of £10 million. I regret that it is not practicable to apportion this figure between the individual counties.
