Mr. Adam Butler

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will give the breakdown into the main categories of the United Kingdom's imports from and exports to the original six members of the EEC in oil goods for each of the years 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, and for the four quarters of 1973 and 1974 if these are available.

Figures for oil goods—defined as SITC(R) Division 33 —for years 1970 to 1972 are published under SITC(R) 331 and 332 in Tables II and IV of Volume I of the appropriate "Annual Statement of the Overseas Trade of the United Kingdom". Figures for 1973 and 1974 cannot be derived from published sources and are as follows:
