asked he Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will strengthen the staff of the British High Commission in Cyprus in view of the additional burdens placed on the High Commission as a result of recent events in Cyprus.

Mr. Hattersley

The High Commission has already been strengthened to help it in dealing with the extra work.
