§ Mr. Tebbitasked the Secretary of State for Trade if there have been further cases of roof tile displacement since 1st July 1974 in the environs of Heathrow Airport; what conclusions he has now reached as to the cause of these incidents; and if he envisages any action to prevent a continuance of this nuisance.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisSince 1st July two cases have been reported to my Department, one occurring on 30th July and the other on 12th August. Following upon consultation with the Department, the British Airports Authority is shortly to introduce a scheme providing insurance cover for houses in a limited area involved near Heathrow. Examination of20W possible preventive measures is continuing.
