§ Mr. Blakerasked the Minister of Overseas Development if she will make a statement about her latest meeting with the overseas aid Ministers of the EEC.
§ Mrs. HartAt meetings on 24th September and 3rd October, the Development Council agreed to release a first $150 million tranche of the Community's proposed $500 million contribution to the United Nations emergency measures, for which I have been pressing since July. It also agreed to proposals for emergency aid to Honduras.
I was personally present on 24th September; but in view of the election I was represented on 3rd October by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the EEC.
