HC Deb 22 November 1974 vol 881 c565W
Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what arrangements the Welsh Office has made to monitor the impact of EEC legislation and regulations on Wales.

Mr. John Morris

This is one of the functions of the Office's European Division.

Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many full-time representatives of the Welsh Office there are at the European Commission's headquarters in Brussels.

Mr. John Morris

The Welsh Office, in common with other Departments, is represented in Brussels by the Office of the United Kingdom Permanent Representative to the European Communities. No Department is directly represented at the Commission's headquarters.
