asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he is satisfied with ministerial arrangements for the co-ordination of policies on worker participation in the management of the nationalised industries.

Mr. Booth

As my right hon. Friend stated on 5th November, the Government are considering how to carry out their commitment to extend industrial democracy in both the private and the public sectors. There will be full consultation between the Ministers concerned and with the managements and unions in the nationalised industries before any decisions are taken on future policies affecting the public sector.
