HC Deb 18 November 1974 vol 881 cc317-8W
Mr. McCusker

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many road accidents in County Armagh have involved Army vehicles; and how many civilians have been injured or killed.

Mr. Robert C. Brown

Road accidents are dealt with on an individual basis,

exception of the Deputy Secretary and Permanent Secretary grades, although such allowances were payable to members of the latter two grades at 1st January 1964. At 1st January 1964 the inner and outer London weighting allowances for all the grades were £85 and £65 per annum respectively. The current allowances are £410 and £260 respectively; this percentage change in salary due to London weighting changes will depend on the level of basic salary.
