asked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will estimate the approximate cost of printing each additional copy of the daily and weekly editions of HANSARD above the current print.

Mr. Charles R. Morris

The approximate cost of printing each additional copy of an average-size HANSARD above the current print is 9.2 pence for the daily edition and 42.6 pence for the weekly edition. These costs do not include any element for typesetting, publishing overheads or selling discounts.

asked the minister for the Civil Service if he will tabulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT the average print of the daily and weekly editions, respectively, of HANSARD for each of the sessions 1971–72 and 1972–73, with the approximate proportions of each edition used for official purpose and that sold.
