HC Deb 11 November 1974 vol 881 cc5-6W
29. Mr. Rose

asked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he will make available for immediate research and

have been held by his Department with foreign Governments concerning the routes to be flown by Concorde;

(2) which countries have now agreed to Concorde making supersonic flights over their territory.

Mr. Clinton Davis

As I said in reply to a similar Question by the hon. Member for Christchurch and Lymington (Mr. Adley) on 10th June, my Department is pressing forward as rapidly as possible in discussions with the countries concerned. We are making progress, but, as the hon. Gentleman will appreciate, it is not desirable to specify details of these discussions while negotiations are proceeding. A statement will be made at the appropriate time.
