§ Mr. Alec JonesYes. These chairmen are appointed by my right hon. Friend from panels of persons appointed by the Lord Chancellor—in Scotland, the Lord President of the Court of Session. Tribunal appointments are grouped into categories according to the type of work performed and a fee fixed for each category. Both the grouping and the fees are kept under review.
