Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales on how many occasions he has visited Gwynedd between 1st March and 31st October 1974; and what was the purpose of each visit.

Mr. John Morris

I have undertaken the following official engagements in Gwynedd as Secretary of State:

  • 17th April—Meetings with Meirionydd District Council, Gwynedd County Council and Gwynedd Area Health Authority. Visits at Llanberis and Blaenau Ffestiniog.
  • 18th April—Meeting with Ynys Môn—Isle of Anglesey Borough Council. Visits at Amlwch, Rhosgoch and Holyhead.
  • 19th July—Opening of Crown building in Caernarfon and leisure centre in Llangefni.
