§ Mr. William RossThe numbers of officers in the Central, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, South-Western and Western Fire Brigades in May 1974, the latest month for which figures are available, are set out in the table below. Only part of the areas of the present Central and South-Western Fire Brigades will be included in the Strathclyde Region and it is not yet known how many officers serving in these brigades will join the new Strathclyde Brigade.
