§ Mr. John Pageasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she is expecting the payment of increases in pensions and other social security benefits to be delayed due to action by civil servants in her Department.
§ Mr. O'MalleyIt is likely that the payment of some increases in benefit will be delayed because of the dispute in which the staff of my Department are involved. All arrears will however be backdated to 22nd July.
