asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, in the interests of increased investment in premium bonds, he will ask the television authorities to broadcast live part of the weekly draw for prizes.

This is primarily a matter for the television authorities, who have indicated in discussions that the draw arrangements lack visual appeal.
