§ Mr. Gowasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when it is proposed to construct a bypass for West ham and Pevensey in East Sussex by diversion of the existing A27 trunk road.
§ Mr. CarmichaelA study of the need for, and nature of, any improvement to the existing route between Polegate and Pevensey is in hand. It is too early to say when any improvement that might be decided on could be constructed.
