HC Deb 21 May 1974 vol 874 cc131-2W
Mr. Michael Latham

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many times the Central Housing Advisory Committee met in 1973, and to the latest available date in 1974; what reports were produced by working parties or sub-committees in that period; how many subcommittees have been set up since 1st March 1974; and what is their future programme of work.

Mr. Freeson

Since the beginning of 1973 the Central Housing Advisory Committee has met once, in July of last year. No reports were produced in this period and no sub-committees have been set up. The committee has no set programme of work, but the Government are considering the future role of the committee.
