HC Deb 20 May 1974 vol 874 c59W
Mr. Adam Butler

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in the light of the waiting times for driving tests at Hinckley, Loughborough, Burton-on-Trent and Leicester, how many more examiners are to be employed at each one of these centers, and when.

Mr. Carmichael

It is proposed to add one each to Hinckley and Loughborough in June and July respectively to bring them up to complement. Burton-on-Trent and Leicester are already fully staffed. Complements are based on estimated future demand as well as on waiting periods and are, of course, kept under review.
