§ 46. Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he will take steps to establish machinery similar to that of the Export Credits Guarantee Department to ensure that when contracts for defence equipment ordered by overseas countries and approved by Her Majesty's Government are frustrated by deliberate industrial or other action within the United Kingdom, appropriate compensation shall be made to the contracting parties both outside and within the United Kingdom.
