asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will take steps to give additional assistance to mature students wishing to enter courses of teacher training.

The situation at Osterley Park House and Ham House is different from that at the Wellington Museum, Apsley House. As my hon. Friend knows, they are leased to the Government by the National Trust. I have no present intention of reviewing the long-established practice of charging at these two houses.
