HC Deb 03 May 1974 vol 872 c281W
Mr. Rose

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she will make a statement on the qualifications for retirement pensions in the case of married women paying national insurance contributions in their own right.

Mr. O'Malley

My right hon. Friend has no such statement to make at present but, as I told my hon. Friend on 18th March—[Vol. 870, c.51]—the position of women in social security is a matter of special concern to us.
