§ Mr. BoothOn Monday 8th April my right hon. Friend saw a delegation from the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Enginering Unions which included the leader of the Amalgamated Union of Engineering Workers. It is his intention to meet union leaders whenever appropriate and he is ready to see Mr. Scanlon again if this will help both sides to reach a settlement in the national engineering negotiations.
