§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Secretary of State for Energy what progress he has made in his discussions with the United States of America regarding the discrimination practised by United States oil-rig operators against supply ships of other than United States nationality; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisI have been asked to reply.
No such discussions have taken place. Where United States oil rigs operate in the North Sea area, I have no evidence of discrimination against United Kingdom vessels. However, if the hon. Gentleman has any evidence of such discrimination I shall be glad to consider it.
