asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is his policy towards creating an underpass at the junction of the North Circular Road and the Great Cambridge Road, Edmonton; if he will list the objections received to the proposal; and if he will make an early statement on this subject.

Following the publication of proposals in September 1973, 48 objections were received, including a petition with 1,528 signatures. These are being considered. Apart from points of detail the objectors question the size of the scheme and its effect on property and the environment.
