HC Deb 19 March 1974 vol 870 c89W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) if he will take steps to ensure that no local authorities in Wales give grants towards the renovation of houses which are to be used as holiday homes and are only occupied for part of the year;

(2) if he will take steps to apply the principle of municipal ownership, referred to in the Gracious Speech, to holiday homes in those areas where there is a shortage of first homes for the resident population.

Mr. John Morris

These issues will certainly be considered in the Government's overall review of housing policy.
