§ Mr. FreesonThe cost of cleaning the exterior of Norman Shaw (North) building using scaffolding now in position is approximately £10,000. An instruction has been given to the contractor to proceed with the work and a start has already been made. Had the cleaning been deferred fresh scaffolding would have been needed. The estimated cost would then have been £40,000.
