asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) how many women, normally resident in Northern Ireland, had a legal abortion in 1973 and up to the most recent date in 1974;

(2) how many women, normally resident in the Republic of Eire, had legal abortions in the United Kingdom in the year 1973 and up to the most recent date in 1974.
