§ Mr. Hugh JenkinsIn reply to a Question by my right hon. Friend the Member for Vauxhall (Mr. Strauss) on 9th May—[Vol. 873, c. 241–2]—I said that the Government intended to introduce legislation on PLR as soon as details had been settled and there was parliamentary time. I expressed the hope that it would be possible to introduce a Bill this year. Discussions on detail are in progress with the various interests concerned in pursuance of that intention.
