asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will seek powers to outlaw the wearing of political and paramilitary uniforms in Great Britain in any circumstances; and if he will make a statement.

The prohibition, in Section 1 of the Public Order Act 1936, of uniforms in connection with political objects is already in wide terms, and I have no evidence that it needs to be widened further.
