§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will show in tonnage and percentage terms the market for coal in Scotland in electricity generation, coke ovens, domestic heating and general industrial use; and what tonnage and percentage of output is exported abroad or to other parts of the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. EadieFigures for the consumption of coal at power stations, coke ovens industry and the domestic sector—including miners' coal—in Scotland and of quantities sent from Scotland to other parts of the United Kingdom and exported are published in the "Scottish Abstracts of Statistics".
