Mr. Pym

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish figures showing the average price of eggs paid to producers in each week since January to the latest available date, indicating the total fall in price paid since 1st January in both net and percentage terms.

The total fall in the price paid to producers since the first week in January is 16.2p per dozen or 47 per cent.
