HC Deb 20 June 1974 vol 875 c221W
Mr. Donald Stewart

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what school building projects have been postponed in the Western Isles as a result of restrictions on expenditure.

Mr. William Ross

The reductions in capital expenditure in 1974–75 announced by the previous administration in December 1973 do not affect any school building project in this area apart from any nursery building project that may start later as a result of the six months' deferment of the nursery education programme.
