HC Deb 19 June 1974 vol 875 cc187-8W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what is the rateable value of all reservoirs in Wales with a capacity of more than 1,000 million gallons, together with the water authority paying the rates and the amount to be paid during the current financial year.

Mr. John Morris

As reservoirs are not given a separate rateable value for the purpose of levying and collecting rates, it is not possible to provide the information in the form requested. However, the water authorities concerned will pay a total of approximately £1,802,000 in rates for 1974–75.
