HC Deb 19 June 1974 vol 875 cc185-6W
Dr. Boyson

asked the Chairman of the Select Committee on House of Commons (Services), why one secretary obtained admission to the Palace of Westminster on 17th June by a pass photograph sold at a kiosk at Victoria Station.

Mr. Bottomley

The secretary in question was admitted because she was known to the police constable on duty at the time as she has worked here for a number of years. The Services Committee is examining the whole question of security, including photo identification passes.
